Veho 5 MP 35mm Negative and Slide Scanner (VFS004deluxe)
12 June 2012
Summary: I purchased the Negative and Slide Converter to digitize over 3500 slides and negatives. I am almost done transferring and I'm pleased with the ease of using the Veho and the quality of the copies of my pictures.
Summary: The scanner allows you to put the old negatives into digital photo files, so it's great for any photographer, who's older than 30 and had been involved with cameras before the digital craze took over. A must have for all classic camera purists! No need to buy an expensive Digital Camera System!

Excerpt: I got this product for my dad for christmas. It is very good, easy to set up. The quality of the photo's when on the PC are great. It was one day late being delivered but I put that down to the weather being bad (snow). Well worth it.
Summary: I'm rather pleased and somewhat surprised at just how good this little Veho is.More especially after some of the less than enthusiastic reviews offered below. It's just so easy to use after software installation. Just click on the 'Photo impression icon; load the slide or neg carrier into the Veho. The image shows up within the Photo impression gallery; select and transfer. The image then is transferred to a place of your choosing.
Summary: Veho VFS-004 5MP 35mm Negative & Slide Scanner Having read the positive and negative reviews it was a toss up as to whether I purchased the VFS negative & slide scanner or a slide copier to fit on my SLR camera. I'm glad I went for the VFS, it's so easy. From the enclosed CD I installed the correct drivers for my operating system which is XP professional SP3, (an appendum enclosed with the package tells you how to find your operating system from your PC) I then followed...
Summary: Considering the mixed reviews I was very doubtful about buying this. On unpacking, it looked better quality than I'd expected ... but the hardware is seldom the problem. As anticipated, the software didn't run first time; it repeatedly "encountered a problem" and had to close down rendering the whole thing useless.
Summary: Arrived promptly and fully seal-packed, but with no instruction booklet (listed as enclosed in the sealed box!!). However, full instructions on accompanying CD-Rom, so a 44-page instruction book can be printed off. Item is very simple to use (after first two or three slides and one gets the "hang of it". Excellent results and I am totally pleased, especially as the Veho manufacturer's recommended retail price of £89.99 is double what Amazon charged.
Summary: I bought this product to make prints of my mum's old slides as a surprise, as they lay forgotten in a box under the stairs. I found it easy to use despite other feedback given. I put the slides in and had no trouble closing the slide holder door. I had no problems feeding the slide holder through the machine. And most importantly the quality of the images was surprisingly good with no pixelation.
Summary: Veho VFS-004 5MP 35mm Negative & Slide Scanner I was uncertain when I bought this product because the reviews were either very positive or very negative with none down the middle. Since I can always return it I decided to buy it and am very pleased that I did. I bought it to scan 35mm slides to use them in a DVD slideshow. I will likely print some of them but so far I've only printed at 6x4 inches. My initial test run worked first time and the results were very good.
Summary: In my opinion this Negative and Slide Scanner is a must have to save those photographs which otherwise may be lost forever. I am in my late fifties and quite a novice with the computer but even I found it easy to install and use. An excellent buy!
