High quality scanner that can't be beat for the price.

Christopher Klein, Amazon
4 December 2013
  • Summary: For the price I could not be happier with this film scanner. I have had the scanner for almost two years and finally finished scanning all my old family photos. I had originally started doing this with a flat bed scanner but decided to do it the "hard" way and could not be happier.

Savy, Amazon
26 July 2012
  • Summary: Like so many others I have hundreds of slides from the 70s thru the 90s. This product is perfect with the provided Software Silverfast SE Plus for scanning - touching up - and archiving the same.

Film Scanner

M. Heinert "CPA", Amazon
11 July 2012
  • Summary: This product is a little difficult to get setup. So follow the installation instructions closely. The transfer process is a little slow, but that is because you can edit as you go. Therefore, the overall process is about the same time as scan and edit later.

Great for ambitious hobby usage

Andreas Sonka, Amazon
17 May 2012
  • Summary: I'm more that happy to have purchased this scanner. I used to have a flat scanner, but the results of scanning slides have been very poor. I am scanning now my collection of slides (close to 8000).

Great slide scanner for the price. Software OK

Mark Hurd, Amazon
1 April 2012
  • Summary: Purchased the Plustek OpticFilm 7600I SE Film Scanner for old slides. Was using an old flatbed scanner that did transparencies, but was not thrilled with the results, so after much research bought the 7600i. I am using a Mac with 10.6.8 OS, but the scanner and software work with both PCs and Macs.

Simpler is better

Diane P. Galbraith, Amazon
19 March 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this scanner to replace a dead Microtek 4000tf. The motor-driven slide advance failed on the Microtek. When the scanner arrived, it did not work, but was quickly replaced by Samy's Camera. The second one performs flawlessly.
