Summary: I have had this scanner for about two years. I bought it when I started doing film photography as part of a class I was taking at a local college. I had many slides from class, mostly Fujifilm Velvia 100 taken with a Nikon N90 and a Voigtlander Bessa R3M.
Summary: I bought this scanner hoping to scan film negatives from my 1000's of print photos. I had previously been scanning the prints using a flatbed scanner and was looking for better quality results.
Summary: I unpacked the unit with great anticipation only to find out that it does not work with mac computers. Nevertheless, I proceeded to install in my Windows machine - my second choice. First, I have a big problem with pretentious software installations.
Summary: After reading the reviews I bought this scanner. I have a lot of slides and I wanted to convert them to digital images. It's easy enough to set up the hardware and software, there are videos included on the installation discs which help show how to scan/copy etc.
