It works well when you understand how it works.

A.J, Amazon
25 May 2014
  • Summary: This thing works and helps me a lot in getting words from books to the computer. The only thing you have to pay attention to is to make sure that you are using it in the right way and understand its limitation. Underlined word can rarely be scanned.

Saved Me During My MBA!!

R. Haase, Amazon
4 December 2013
  • Summary: This pen scanner saved my life during my MBA. I like to take notes and then read them over and over to study. I was tired of typing 10 pages of notes each week so I looked into one of these. Are the scans perfect?

Could be better

Robert S Scott, Amazon

  • Summary: I find that pen works fine on flat surfaces and non glossy paper. Trying to use the pen on book pages which are curved toward the binding side causes some very interesting characters to appear on the output document.

  • Summary: I've used this product for several months as a researcher. Using this product has meant gaining some speed but at some cost. When it works, it doubles my speed in taking citations from sources.

Fairly easy to use and a great timesaver!

  • Summary: Super helpful with compiling my notes from class and textbooks (and as a grad student, I've got plenty of both!) and it saves me hours of typing time! It's pretty easy to use, though like other reviews on this product I suggest using Pages if you're on a mac to get your notes on the computer.

An OK/good experience.

A. Roldan, Amazon
16 November 2013
  • Summary: This was great if you use long quotes from books for essays. However, there is a certain speed you should move so that the words don't get messed up on the screen. Try different speeds to see how fast you can scan.
