Summary: So initially I thought this was okay-ish despite some obvious flaws - it feels cheap, it is imperfect and requires a lot of manual correction, and it came with a CD installer which.... I don't even own anything with a CD drive anymore, so that wasn't helpful.
Summary: I am a law student and thought wow this would be great to have, since I do so much reading. However, the product did not operate as well as the other reviews led me to believe. I have read the directions and have tried to use it more slowly and gently but my efforts have failed.

Summary: This works for me, it is not perfect but it is surely better than typing everything. I use this for my Sunday school lessons to scan tidbits from different places and put them all together in Word. I could not be happier it works all the time.

Summary: I bought the pen to help me scan text for my notes in law school, and its pretty accurate. I just have to keep a steady pace or else it will spit out gibberish. It was expensive, but definitely worth the money. I think once i practice with it a little more, it will be a lot more accurate.

Summary: can someone report on scanning into an Apple computer ? One hopefully gets a .txt file which can be edited in Apple's Terminal App using the txt editor, pico, that comes with the Mac. Just type pico scanned-file-name
