Not worth it

Summary: After less than 100 scans it malfunctioned. The scans were coming out with only some of the colors picked up. Of course it was just past the warranty time . I also had issues my computer being able to see the scanner so I essentially was only able to run it off of my older laptop.
Summary: It scans well, but setting it up took me 3 days to figure out. I have a windows 7 64 bit system and what I figured out was the driver is for Windows XP 32 or 64 bit not Windows 7 or 8 as the box states. Setting it up just put it into Unrecognized device in Windows device manager.
Summary: I had an issue with the 'less expensive' version of this scanner, returned it, then purchased the 'more expensive' model, and it's been an excellent tool to use for scanning my art work up to 1,200 dpi. I plugged it in and it immediately started working on my Mac computer (IOS 10).
Summary: It was bad enough that there was a 1/2 piece of plastic floating around inside the scanner. But the supplied driver was out of date and even after I downloaded the correct software I could never get it to work via TWAIN.

Summary: The scanner created artifacts such as long streaks and reflections in the images. The Mustek customer service center did not return calls or e-mails. I returned the scanner to the seller for a refund. I would never buy another Mustek product.
Summary: Scans very well. When I open the box, set it up, ran my first scan I found some specks of dust on the inside of the glass. Called Mustek for support, I was they would get back to me. After weighting for some time no support. They ignored me and I have yet to hear from them.

Summary: Scans well. Advertised as 2400DPI and that's not an option with the software. I had the earlier version of this and they completely dropped driver support. Let's hope this isn't dropped. Still, for the money, it's a good large format scanner.
Summary: This scanner was advertized as being completely compatible with Mac Apple computer - but it could not batch scan into PDF files. I've been trying to correct the problem with the company for 5 weeks - and no resolution.
