Missing Traditional Chinese

Gary Leon Randalls, Amazon
18 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought this thing to take to Taiwan with me, to help me in my traditional Chinese lessons. To my surprise and disappointment, LG does not recognize this language in it's OCR data base! (Oh, but it has over 180 other languages in its database!) What a waste of money!

A little tricky but is cool when you get use to it

Thomas J. DeFazio, Amazon
16 February 2014
  • Summary: The new cordless model would make this mouse scanner much easier to use. I like how I can scan my college assignments then have the ability to edit the text. It's still pretty cool.

Nice but meh

Nicholas D., Newegg
27 December 2013
  • Summary: Found it at a great price and works for small things so it is worth investing in but if you need something to scan documents all day stick with an AIO or flatbed scanner.
  • Pros: So the ability to scan almost anywhere is awesome. The mouse works great as it supposed to as a mouse. The tracking is very smooth and works just about anywhere. The scanning software is very user friendly and easy to use. Works great on windows 8 and scans small things well.
  • Cons: The scanner is difficult to use. This lost 2 eggs for me because I have a laptop and have been trying to use this mouse to scan a standard 8.5x11 paper and its next to impossible to get it go scan straight. I had intentions to use this mouse so I didn't have to carry a scanner with me but for sta...

27 July 2013
  • Summary: I would put it in the toy category. If you have serious work to do, buy a scanner, this is too fiddley .

LG Scanner Mouse

Stephen Brown, Amazon
6 March 2013
  • Summary: Quality of scan is not what I expected from a scanner mouse from LG Electronics. Software seems to need constant updates. Updates almost daily.

Great concept ... but not for everyday use

Johannes Luijten, Amazon
18 August 2012
  • Summary: First off; the scanning works very well, even on a Mac (MacOS X Mountain Lion). Unlike those old handscanners, this scanner really stitches your scan together very well, in a very good quality. Just keep in mind that lifting the mouse during scanning is a no-no.

Wow, once I got past the installation it is great BUT

E. Bolton, Amazon
14 August 2012
  • Summary: Below are my original comments. I have tried to use it repeatedly to scan and copy excerpts from paper documents. Although I can adapt to the size and buttons of this mega-mouse, it is the cord that ruins it for me. It makes it too unwieldy and any efficiency I would otherwise gain using it is lost.

Good, but not perfect

Chris Arford "CableDude", Amazon
8 May 2012
  • Summary: The Scanner Mouse is good but not great. It has a small learning curve. The USB cable that it is attached to seems to get in the way. It is easier to use on large documents such as 8x11 paper and not that easy to use on Calling Cards, receits, etc. The ideal Scanner Mouse would be wireless.

Just useable

David Winter, Amazon
27 June 2013
  • Summary: This doesn't actually do what it says. There are too many buttons on it, it should be either a scanner or a mouse, but not both. Can't get the OCR to work on documents. Poor instructions supplied.
