Summary: I tried to scan a simple 6 page document tonight and it hung 3 times in a row. 15 minutes later and I still didn't have my scanned image. If you are like me and decided on the Kodak over the Fujitsu partially because of the included software, don't bother and just buy the Fujitsu.
Pros: It worked very well under Windows XP.
Cons: But the driver constantly hangs under Windows 7. When it hangs, there is no way to gracefully kill it. You have to hold the power button down on your machine since the process won't even be killed by Windows logging off.
Summary: I have an i1120 which has been working fine on Win7 64 bit but software now hangs. 3 page document in feeder, it will feed first two pages but then hangs. Called Kodak support who asked me to email in, which I did. Here's the reply I got.
Summary: I've had this scanner for a couple of years. It is easy to install and use. The problem is with the driver updates. I now have Windows 8.1 and the Kodak 8.1 drivers won't articulate with my computer.
Summary: This would be a nice scanner if it wasn't for the Kodak software. You have to jump through too many hoops to get it to work in windows 7. There are two buttons on the front of it for scanning, while these are fun to look, it would be nice to be are able to get them to work for scanning.
Summary: I bought this scanner due to it's attractive price a little over a year ago and i'm planning to throw it in the trash as soon as i can get a new one. First big issue, scanning software. It barely works on Windows 7, even with their updated windows 7 software and drivers.
Summary: I have been using scanners for many years the build quality on this unit is terrible. This is definiteky not suitable for an office. The unit I received did not work straight out of the box. Cheap plastic components. Poor image quality. Terrible support.
