Summary: I've had this scanner for a couple of years. It is easy to install and use. The problem is with the driver updates. I now have Windows 8.1 and the Kodak 8.1 drivers won't articulate with my computer. What is worse, the company's tech support staff will not help unless I pay money for their assistance. One employee told me I could purchase a contract for $53 dollars or pay $250 dollars for software support..
Summary: I have an i1120 which has been working fine on Win7 64 bit but software now hangs. 3 page document in feeder, it will feed first two pages but then hangs. Called Kodak support who asked me to email in, which I did. Here's the reply I got. Hi Mike, Unfortunately your warranty has been expired, if you have an extended warranty then please provide me with the documentation. If not, then please get in contact with your local support.
When they work they are great - don't expect them for more than 2 years.

Summary: We purchase these desktop scanners for several people in the office that can't be scanning documents at the larger scanners/printer units. The scanners work great when they work, but over the past 3 years, we have found we get roughly two years out of them.
Summary: These are great scanners which we use in our insurance agency. We currently have six 1120 scanners in use and have been using them for at least the last three years. This is the first one we've had to replace. Very reliable and easy to use.
