Perfect for Old Photos

Paul Simon, Amazon
7 January 2009
  • Summary: I purchased this unit with the sole purpose of scanning about fifteen thousand old photographs. I was worried that the slick photos wouldn't feed properly but it worked flawlessly. I started with a couple thousand 4x6 photos from the 90s, and this machine kept sucking them in while I watched TV. Next, I scanned odd sizes of old snapshots, school, and holiday cards.

  • Summary: Comments about Kodak i30 Sheetfed Scanner: I love Kodak and would never use another brand. They have proved to me over and over that they are the best out there. Look at this product for example. How could you get a better product or at a better price then going with Kodak! I am thrilled that I was able to find a scanner that would handle all the work that my kids put it through when they want to fax something to daddy at the office.
  • Pros: Accurate Color, Easy Setup, Excellent Software

Looks cheap, but its heavy duty

  • Summary: Comments about Kodak i30 Sheetfed Scanner: My company does a lot of high quality photo prints. We figured it was time to upgrade from a flatbed scanner. This one holds up to 50 sheets at a time, and can scan that full 50 sheets in a little over 2 minutes. Best part is it can handle 8.5x14 sheets at 48 bit depth so it made my job tremendously easier. I can get a lot more work done in a shorter amount of time and it has been a great investment. Great product by Kodak.

  • Summary: Comments about Kodak i30 Sheetfed Scanner: This is a great scanner. We are a lifeguard team at a local pool that needed something that we could file incident reports with and then scan to the network. I taught everyone how to use it, it’s not that hard to learn at all. We received our scanner within a week and it came with great instructions on how to set it up and get it working. We are all quite happy here and wanted to thank you.
