Great Scanner -

Scott D. Estes, Amazon
24 March 2011
  • Summary: We purchased this scanner as a replacement to an older model that was SCSI connected. We already had software in place for the paper capture/character recognition so that was not really considered in deciding on the purchase. We have since found this scanner to perform the functions perfectly.

13 March 2011
  • Summary: I've used this for about a year now and it is fantastic. Sucks through piles of paper with ease and great speed. No hesitation to recommend it 100%.

If you gotta scan a few suitcases full of misc pictures. This is your scanner!

D. Stanton, Amazon
7 March 2011
  • Summary: First off this scanner does not make the best scan quality of the flatbed scanners I have and do currently use. However I cannot jam an inch thick pile of different sized photos into any other document feeder hand have the scanner (nearly without fail) feed and scan every picture perfectly.

Love this scanner!

D. Summerson, Amazon
17 February 2011
  • Summary: I have owned this scanner for several years. I have scanned literally thousands of pictures and clippings for clients. Using this scanner makes my work so much faster and easier that it isnt funny! Simply feed up to 15 pics at a time in its hopper and let it go.

Expensive but found it to be worth it

Eric G., Newegg
17 September 2010
  • Summary: If I had to do it all over again, I would buy exactly this same product. Oh yes... Oh yes... 64 bit worthy and their tech support spends an unlimited amount of time with you over the phone for free.
  • Pros: The i1210 allows you to place a stack of papers or photos in the slot and it scans them all unattended while you do other stuff. Lots of features like auto straighten, or tweak the first scan and run the rest with those settings. My HP Scanjet 3c died 1/4 the way through my photo albums project. ...
  • Cons: Aside from being expensive, the only problem I have had is that items smaller than a 1.5" edge cant be grabbed and pulled into the scanner but that can be worked around.
