Summary: Once you get it configured, this scanner works well. It's very fast. However, for the price, I felt like it was pretty cheaply made. Plus the software that comes with it is very dated. For being price north of $300 when I bought this, I feel like it needs to offer a little more usability. On hindsight, I think I might find another option that's cheaper and accomplishes the same task.
Summary: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly... The Good - Compact, easy installation (WIndows 7 X64), well constructed. The Bad - ADF does NOT work; multiple paper types, paper amounts, scan type attempts, computer set-ups...reports that it will not sense paper and requests to please load. The Ugly - Returning to Amazon with the decision not to replace as I don't want to try again. Purchase based on the prior reviews, but not enough of them to make me test the product again.
Summary: Was so excited to get this. I got it because of all the awesome reviews on here. Got it, put in the disc, and... nothing. It would not install. Thought it was my computer, but since I just purchased it about a month ago, and since it's been able to read and install other disc's, it's not my computer. After installing (after much much much frustration), the drivers would not install.
