Disappointing - poor customer service, had to return

Summary: I ordered this scanner and was happy to receive it. It was easy to set up, but almost immediately it wasn't working properly. Scanned pages had lines down the side and along bottom, and on any page only partially filled with text, the entire page was covered in splotchy spots. I called customer service numerous times. When they don't answer, they don't return messages. When they answer, they aren't very helpful.
Summary: I bought this scanner to speed up the process of scanning large documents, but I cannot get the software to work with my computer. I tried contacting customer service, but no one answered me. It's now just sitting on my desk as another useless piece of electronic equipment that doesn't do the job it's advertised to do. I read all of the reviews on it before I bought it too.
Summary: Do not waste your money on this scanner. This scanner will not give you clear noise free scans, therefore don't even try to run OCR on your documents. At first scanner was giving me noise all over my documents, called bulletscan had me change the native mode, then 2 months later, always scan with a thick black line down left edge of paper.
Summary: I was intrigued by the features of the BulletScan (and its price) even though I hadn't heard of the manufacturer before. But the first one I ordered was dead on arrival. I called tech support and spoke with a live person very quickly. We went through some steps and they determined that there was some interface problem that supposedly rarely happens but about which they're aware. So they told me to return it via Amazon for a replacement. Got the replacement the next day.
