No support for Win 8

Isaac Saboohi "Sabooman", Amazon
5 July 2014
  • Summary: I have to say that I have owned this scanner for a couple of years now and used it to scan all receipts and file all documents electronically. It has worked great but as time has gone by, I don't think that the company (ivina) has devoted resources to keeping it's software and firmware up to date. There is no firmware for Windows 8? Come on, get with the program. Integration with Google docs also broke a while ago. The scanner Is also getting stuck now.

I love it... with some tiny reservations.

Delta Foxtrot, Amazon
11 May 2014
  • Summary: I needed a duplex scanner, and this little guy fills the bill nicely. It sits on my desk, taking up very little space, it's one BRIGHT blue eye (I put translucent tape over it - several layers were necessary to dim the LED down to a manageable level!) shining at me with what I prefer to believe is unconditional love and devotion. Seriously, this is a nice little duplex scanner for a reasonable price.

Highly Recommended Scanner

XChibi, Amazon
12 December 2013
  • Summary: This is a fantastic scanner. It takes everything you can throw at it, small or large, one side or both, color or black and white, and is very fast. Makes organizing papers much easier. This company should definitely get their name out there more for scanners; I never heard of them before but they know what they're doing.

Nice scanner that handles multiple pages and paper sizes without spending a fortune.

Teresa Johnson, Amazon
17 November 2013
  • Summary: This scanner handles multi-page jobs fairly well. However, If there are more pages than fit in one batch, it is hard to add more without a jam. It's better to do batches and then combine them for long documents. The software makes switching between letter and legal sizes easy. One negative is that lines show on the scan where pages have been folded even if they are flattened out first.

purchased December 2010

Tracy, Amazon
21 May 2013
  • Summary: I purchased the BulletScan S300 from Amazon in December of 2010 for 262.99. It fit all my requirements, and at first I was thrilled. Then, after nearly 2 years the ADF Roller needed replacing. So I contacted ivina.com in late September 2012. They said they would not sell me a roller. I was told to send it to them for repairs. If the scanner was purchased w/i 2 yrs, then the repairs would be covered by warranty, otherwise repair costs would depend on the issue.

Disappointing - poor customer service, had to return

jmmcc, Amazon
26 April 2013
  • Summary: I ordered this scanner and was happy to receive it. It was easy to set up, but almost immediately it wasn't working properly. Scanned pages had lines down the side and along bottom, and on any page only partially filled with text, the entire page was covered in splotchy spots. I called customer service numerous times. When they don't answer, they don't return messages. When they answer, they aren't very helpful.

  • Summary: Already had one of these, and Walmart seems to have the best price. It works pretty well and scans quickly. Exactly as advertised.
