Summary: This thing doesn't work. The first one Amazon sent had been used and was broken. It and wouldn't ever turn on. They must have taken a broken returned unit and shipped it to me as new. The, so called, "help" file didn't. The second one they shipped was worse. Nothing worked.
Summary: Order 1 unit from Amazon, received a defective unit. Communicate with IRIS directly for replacement, they ask me pay for the return unit postage to Belgium. Plus, after their technical team verify the defective unit, only will ship a new unit out to me. I decided to perform RMA with Amazon.
Summary: I just tried using my IRISPen 6 once again, after over 2 years of letting it sit in a drawer due to it's utter failure to serve my needs. After wasting another 30 minutes with it, I felt the need to check back in with what reviewers were saying and add my comments.
Summary: I don't know what others who write good reviews for this product are doing but the pen is scanning nothing but gibberish from minute one I unpacked it yesterday. I tried every possible position, inclination, speed, pressing, different books and textures, etc. and etc: nothing works.
