Excerpt: The Anywhere 5 scanner works well and scan cards quickly. The portability of the unit and its self-contained battery power are extremely convenient and allow me to take the scanner anywhere. The feeding of cards can be a bit fussy until you realize that it takes a moment for the scanner to recognize a card staged at the infeed and begin automatically feeding. Don't force the issue or you will get crooked scans.
Excerpt: Iris is the worst company I've ever dealt with. You can only find a contact phone number once you've purchased the product. When you call (no matter what division) you are put on hold forever. When prompted if you would like to leave a voice mail you are re-directed and get the message that voice mail is full and cannot leave a message. E-mails go unanswered. If you buy this product pray you never have a problem!
Summary: The built-in battery allows me to take it to all my meetings and trade shows. The business cards are quickly scanned and stored in the internal memory. After connecting via USB to the computer, the software will immediately recognize the scanned images and import them into the software provide. From there I can send the contact info directly to MS Outlook. Text recognition works well and very accurate. The card scanner is a real time saver!
Summary: I purchased this device a year back, I couldn't use it, it is very complicated, it is not a friendly user at all, I have sent several complaints to the mother company for directions guidance with no positive response. Over priced, simply i regret spending money on such machine. The manual is not useful at all.....
Summary: The mac version of the software is at v4.16 while the Windows version is 5. This means if you are trying to upgrade from Cardiris for SnapScan (which is at v4.17) you're actually going backwards. I don't recommend the product for that reason (as v4 on the Mac is buggy and not intuitive. Its crashed for me on several occasions and lost all the data of the business cards I had put into the program).
Haven't Used all the features yet, but it's pretty good

Summary: This came right away. There is some confusion between the web-site and the product, because the site only goes up to 4 and the scanner/software are V5. If you try to load upgrades/updates, you get a loop. Another reviewer pointed out problems with the manual. It's thick, but only the first few pages are in English. The IrisCard scanner is not very big and it is light weight. I got it primarily because it doesn't connect to a computer when scanning.
Excerpt: Contacts anywhere. Go to a conference and take it along. Will save you hundreds of hours. It is fast and accurate. Also easy to make any corrections you may want. I have always had the one connected to my computer, and it was/is still a big helper. But, this potable one is the cats meow! Fits in your brief case and goes to business meetings with you. Like having a secretary along with you. I might add B&H has never let me down since the day they opened.
Pros: Accurate Color, Easy To Set Up, Excellent Software, Good Bit Depth, Good Resolution, Widely Compatible, Works on Network
