Use it more than I expected to

Dee, Staples
29 November 2014
  • Excerpt: It is so easy and portable that I not only scanned the documents I needed but have used it for unexpected purposes. Cleaned out the clutter of owners manuals, saved my mom's recipes to discs and even saved all the childhood art which can never be replaced (or thrown away).

Too bad more options to control the output are not included ...

Dave T, Amazon
19 November 2014
  • Summary: I wanted something to scan my second chance lottery scratchers. Unfortunately the scratchers have a box randomly placed on three of the numbers. The scanner has difficulty with the boxed numbers. I got it to read the entire thirteen scratcher numbers without mistakes very rarely.

This is an amazing scanner!!!

Law Gal, Staples
19 September 2014
  • Excerpt: I received this item a week earlier than what Staples had it slated for. I was excited when it showed up and was ready to try it out. First of all...no instructions come with it. They are actually in the CD under the guide. Easy to follow and install although a very noisy installation.

Great tool for albums!

Elaine, Amazon
12 February 2014
  • Summary: I had been given an assignment for a Non-Profit group and needed to make scans of album pics. Others before me had made scrapbooks with cut outs and glue and embellishments all over the pictures and made many pages difficult to work with on a flatbed scanner.

  • Summary: It scans okay but if you are trying to scan the surface not perfectly flat(like a page from a book), it has difficulty recognizing the grid( connecting contents) that it is almost impossible to complete theacceptable page scan withing the memory. Setting up is a breeze for Windows 7.

  • Summary: I have used the LG mouse scanner before. Also, my purchase of the IRIScan, I read as many reviews as possible. One common comment is the scan button on the left of the mouse where user's thumb can hit it so often accidentally. I seldom write comment on products purchased.

I needed something that could work on Mac and PC platforms without a bunch of hassle and that was battery powered. This little scanner is very light, fits in my briefcase and scans really fast.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Excellent Software, Fast

  • Summary: This is a very good combination mouse and scanner. However, it often loses its ability to scan, and I have to restart my computer.
