Summary: Does a fair job. Takes a steady hand at the correct speed to get a good scan. Portable is what I was after and this works good enough for my purposes. The OCR software struggles with certain characters such as capital D but for the most part works.
Summary: I use IRIS software a lot and I love it. So when I ordered this scanner I thought it would be great. Wrong, I paid extra to get the wifi. The first problem you encounter is the numbers requested to set up and register the scanner don't match the numbers provided. Summary: I have used the LG mouse scanner before. Also, my purchase of the IRIScan, I read as many reviews as possible. One common comment is the scan button on the left of the mouse where user's thumb can hit it so often accidentally. I seldom write comment on products purchased. But this time, I want to do IRIScan fair. After reading the so many comments and none is 5 stars, I am actually skeptical to buy it but have no choice because of urgency.
