Good Scanner For You Technicians

cpatricks, Amazon
22 November 2014
  • Summary: Scans very well. Only drawback is that sometimes it's hard to feed. Plain paper and business cards do very well. Invoices with gummed edges have a tendency not to feed very well. I just flip them over and feed from the opposite side. Only scans one side facing up. Scans in color.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

L. F. "Graphic Designer", Amazon
6 February 2013
  • Summary: This is very expensive for such a piece of junk. Most of the time the scanner doesn't pick up the paper and, when it does, it ends up going in crooked. Then finding the scans on the computer is very convoluted. The scanner crashes constantly.

Worked great for a short while

S. Pirtle "margrad", Amazon
25 November 2012
  • Summary: I go into situations where I have to scan documents in a hurry and get out fast. No, I am not into industrial sabotage. Previously I was photographing the documents. I really loved the scanner, until one day when it just stopped working, less than two months after I bought it, but after the store...

Item was returned BUT fairly good Customer Service

BobRob, Amazon
30 January 2012
  • Summary: I tried to order this scanner directly from IRIS using a PCWorld discount code ($149) but was shipped the wrong scanner (MY FAULT). Customer Service could only be contacted through email. Eventually they did send an RMA. The scanner I recieved was returned.

Think It Over

Bill Hilly, Amazon
3 December 2011
  • Summary: I bought it cause they were offering "$50 OFF, Limited Time Only!" Right, I had a bad feeling even before I opened the box. After charging the thing up, which took about 4 hours, I tried but failed to get the thing to even scan a test strip. It just would not operate.

A waste of time and money

Curt, Amazon
2 September 2011
  • Summary: This product seems to be a beta version. The driver is half adequate and the scan quality and recognition of business cards is terrible. The scanning is so slow and cumbersome as to make the scanner practically worthless.

  • Summary: I was searching high and low for a truly portable scanner and came across this beauty. It scans documents, business cards and photos beautifully. I was to see it came with a 1GB SD memory card and internal memory allowing me to scan hundreds of cards at the CES trade show with plenty of room to...

  • Summary: This portable scanner is the greatest thing since sliced bread! This is the perfect tool for genealogists or anyone who has shoeboxes full of pictures to scan. It is so easy and very fast. The internal rechargeable battery lasts a long time in between charges. The picture quality is great too.
