Summary: It's good 13mp film scanner. Cheap and compact. Perfect for home use and for budget films. I bought this scanner for scanning film with Nikon F100. Professional scanners cost several times more expensive!
Summary: Not enough stars available for this product. It is so easy to use, and so quick, 2 seconds per slide, just click OK twice and your slides are saved to SD card ( supplied ). Save to PC and WOW that's all there is to it. "simples". You don't even need a PC, just plug in to mains and carry on.
Ease of use, connects easily to computer, excellant value

Summary: I have, like many people, boxes of photo negatives and slides from years gone by. Wanted to display them, the ION makes capturing them simple. It's a bit on the plastic feeling side, but does perform the task. I purchased a similar unit, make sure that what you buy works on today's operating systems. The other unit did not, this unit is very user friendly.
Summary: I have had several slide scanners in the past and they were clunky to use and the software produced poor images. This is great. I can easily go through a 180 slide carousel in 30-60 min. Cleaning the slides takes more time than scanning them!
Summary: I have a ton of old negatives that I've accumulated for many years. With this scanner, I've been able to digitize many pictures that have almost been forgotten and lost forever. It's a great tool!, Together with my editing software, I've been able to bring old memories back to life.
Use for cheap and easy gifts (Mothers/Fathers Day, Christmas, Birthdays)

Summary: Decent little piece of equipment. Using to preserve all of my family's 35mm pictures and slides. I imagine once I do every picture and slide (hundreds to go). I will be re-listing this item. Great for preserving old photos incase something were to happen to the originals.
