Summary: Converts 35mm slides to digital photos at advertised resolution. Might want higher resolution, but you have to pay more for that. I am totally satisfied with what this device does. Only advice I could give is be patient with some slides - it takes a couple of seconds for the auto-gain control to set...
Summary: The slide scanner worked as I expected, i would have liked to have the ability to scan directly to my computer, but scanning to an SD card works fine. The resolution was fine for my purpose (converting family slides to digital).
Summary: It did a good job of saving old 35mm slides into my desktop. Well worth the cost. The condition of the slides make a big difference in the quality of the finished photo. It did what it was made to do.
Summary: This scanner has done a great job converting my parents' slides to digital images. It does pick up dust easily, but is not hard to clean with the included cleaner wand. I can only do 25 slides at once, then I have to move them off the scanner storage onto my own disk.
Summary: been putting 60 years of slides on the cpu, this is NOT pro grade, but works very well. easy to use, good resolution and color saturation, all in all a good bet if your an amateur who needs to get rid of kodak carousels, i dont even have the projector any longer
Excerpt: Bought this to scan slides that are over 40 years old and not in the best of condition. It has met or exceeded my expectations for quality of scans. The only issue I have is that the slide holder is fairly small and if you want to scan a lot of slides it takes a long time.
Pros: Accurate Thumbnails, Consistent, Good Bit Depth, Good Resolution
Summary: Purchased this item because I was looking for a slide viewer. When I realized I could also convert my slides to digital format and for such a reasonable cost I immediately purchased it It has been all I expected. I have had no problems with this viewer/converter.
