Summary: The device quality is very good, and when I save picture from good film it has good colors and light. The slides feeder is perfect and the film adapter is easy to handle. Speed is great and the fact that it's stand alone (near power socket) is very helpful. The SD card supplied is 4GB and class 4. It's quite slow, but does it's job. 4GB is enough for approximately 1500 pictures.
Summary: I purchased for my 93 year old father for 35mm slide picture conversion and storage. Only drawbacks are the size of the screen and that the slides can be inserted only one way. He could operate the manual portions of the operation easily. He doesn't use computers, but the applications for photo editing seem good, and are planned to be performed by me.
Summary: This was a relatively inexpensive device for converting 35mm slides to digital jpg format. I converted 300-400 slides in an afternoon. The best part was the slide feeder tray that greatly speeded up the process over an older converter that I had previously used. Some effort was required to make sure the slides were dust free, but that was accomplished with a duster spray can. The final image quality was very good.
