Summary: Great machine that does as advertised. I have used it for a month or two with hundreds of slides. It did the job well. Easy to import pictures to computer from SD card and print them on a photosmar printer or you can just put the SD card in the printer to print them. Photosmart printer is available from Amazon I think. if not go to Hewlett Pacard. For the price, you cannot beat it. Well pleased and I would recommend it.
after all these years have became 'monochromatic' and dull. I did not expect miracles

Summary: Using this scanner is an entirely new experience to me. I only started to convert my slides dating back to the 1970s after reading the operating instructions at least 3 times and familiarizing with the physical product thoroughly. Believe me, that will not only save you time, but a lot of heartaches and headaches. Having converted more than 100 I can safely verify that it takes roughly 2-3 seconds per slide after pressing the 'Copy Button'.
Excerpt: I got this to scan a lot of 110 negatives that I do not have the prints for. As advertised I was let to believe it came with the holders, but only 35mm Neg and slides. It does not come with the holders for 110 or 126. It will scan them, but here is the trick I discovered; It is the same scanner as the Pana-Vue 125, without a battery. So if you want to scan 110, order the Pana-Vue 110 Film Carrier B&H # PAAPA128 Mfr # APA128, and for 126 order B&H # PAAPA129 Mfr # APA129.
Summary: I was able to move over 300 slides and negatives that were about 45 years old to a usable updated format. I did the job in one evening. If you read directions first and follow it is a simple process that is not complicated. You just have to play around with the system a little to get familiar with it and then it is a snap. I was very pleased even though I did have a few problems once I caught on to the process it was very smooth.
