Excerpt: This operates very easy, except the automatic feed jams very easily. I found that feeding one slide at a time worked best. I scanned 346 slides in a very short time once I started using the one at a time method.
Summary: Great little unit. Has a little holder for up to 20 slides to inject into the scanner. Works as well or better separate from computer, just scan to SD card and copy from card to computer. Scans in about a second.
Summary: Nice little machine. I'm only giving it four stars because the old slides would frequently "stick" because they were different widths, and I had to constantly adjust for this. Sometimes it was just quicker to put them in one at a time, though it was faster when I could stack them.
Summary: ok so heres the deal, my local photo shop charges $10 for film development plus scanning at about 3000x3000 resolution. I figured looking for a scanner will save me money in the long run when shooting film. So I picked up this scanner to test it out.
