Summary: It works great, and even better in color option. It's a little slow and noisy. I wish it would feed 2 pcs of paper continuously without mouse keying scan but for a small desktop scanner it's nice
Summary: Had two scanners previous to this HP (they were not HP) Each one worked on a different computer - sometimes! Frustrated I decided to try once more. HP -- Easy to set up, Comes in a neat travel case, easy to use, works every time!
Summary: I have had this scanner for over 2 years with no product issues. As a small contractor, I work out of my truck all the time as a mobile office, so space is limited. I keep it along with my netbook, portable printer, mobile internet, product literature, etc.... under the back seat of my truck. I am a very active person, camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, hunting, etc... and it fits my life with my wife, kids, dogs and, of course, work.
Summary: I work in environmental industry and generate waste profiles in the field on a frequent basis. We are required to scan document into system to initiate approval process. I had to wait until I was in office to use scanner which delayed the process. Now I can instantly scan in the field! This scanner has been very reliable and produces clear images. It has a very convenient USB feature where image is scanned directly into computer instead of onto an SD card.
Summary: The product works as good as any scanner could. It does require that you install the driver before it will even appear turned on. That is to be expected I suppose since the whole thing runs on USB power. The seller was great as well, I ordered it Wednesday and received it Thursday without prime or any other expedited shipping.
Summary: This exceeded my expectations for simplicity of use and integration. The software with the product is very good. business card manager integrates with Outlook. This is what I was looking for and could not afford with the $400 variety scanner. This was a good deal and, so far, dependable product for scanner receipts, documents, etc. It also does duplexing.
Summary: I love this scanner and have scanned thousands of pages per day on it, and as many as 140 pages per single scan. Once in a while the scanner balks at a particular page, but this is easily fixed by either putting the page through the scanner bottom side up (there is a setting to flip pages to right side up, if they are horizontal orientation or inserted bottom side up) or putting the page in a sheet protector.
