Summary: three days old and i realize this needs to be returned. a total of four hours with hp tech support remotely running my win10 64b computer trying to get this to work. tech support bailed out after they got it to scan only once, using a new separate user account.
Summary: As a previous reviewer told you and this may seem unbelievable that a company like HP would do this, the scanners driver just drops off after a period of use. I would say that if you don't use it much it could last for years but then what's the point of having something you don't use.
Summary: Ordered this for my job at the bank. It came USED. they tried to make it look new. but it was obviously worn and used!!! also it would not install . I dont know what we will do with it now waste of money
Summary: I should have read the reviews on this scanner. Apparently this is a horrible scanner plaqued with many issues. Even the HP tech support guy said that. Dont buy this one.
Cons: Out of the box "Hardware error" This is the second scanner I had to eat in 2 weeks because there is a non-refund policy on this one. And no, it wasn't an open box special, just a regular discounted item. First was a Fujitsu that wasn't compatible with my software, then this one is dead.
Summary: Do NOT buy this HP Scanjet N6310!!! The driver only works for about a year, then it will disappear without any trace. Once your scanner is out of warranty, talking to Hp Tech Support is such a nightmare!!! Their engineers only created drivers that only last for a year.
Summary: I purchased one of these from Amazon and it didn't function correctly. Amazon replaced it and the second one also had functional problems. So I returned the second unit also and then bought one directly from HP which worked fine. It is a super scanner when it works.
