Summary: This product arrived in very good condition, almost as new. The only issue i found is when scanning 35mm slides it lasts more time than i expected. I also have the anohter hp scanner wich has a 2 slides bed (this one, g3110, has room for 4 slides) and i scan in parallel, and the other has a better...
A decent USB connected scanner, reasonably priced.

Summary: The HP Scanjet G3110 was shipped in its consumer packaging. I knew when it arrived by the "plop" as it was dropped on my doorstep by UPS, who could obviously tell he was delivering a piece of electronic equipment.
Summary: I purchased this scanner and have had no problems with it. It scans multiple photos, I can delect dpi, quality of scan, where to save it, etc. I have two other scanners - an Epson and one that is part of an "all-in-one" system.
Excerpt: I worked at a professional photo lab from 1998 to 2001. Digital film scanning was just coming into its own and was prohibitively expensive. This little scanner does a good job of scanning photos, but the ability to scan 35mm slides and negatives leaves a bit to be desired.
Pros: Accurate Color, Easy To Set Up, Good Resolution
Summary: I had to replace my perfectly good Canon because they were too cheap to write drivers for Windows 7. This HP is a great value for routine copy work and print scans. However, the ability to work with film transparencies is nill. No matter how I tried using the carrier, the scans were no good.
