Summary: Bought this when I had to give up previous HP flatbed due to changing to Win 7. My experience with the other one was positive. Found this unit used at a fantastic price. Really didn't expect much, but turned to be out as good as the one I had to give up. The unit is not terribly fast, but having the feeder on top helps as you can stack some stuff on and walk away for a while. Occasionally "misfires" but usually performs well. Like the copy, file, and etc.
Summary: Good scanner, Works well using non HP programs, Very poor support from HP, Nothing but problems with software from HP, Using WIN XP, HP programs do not work with front panel buttons. and solution center keeps looking for unavailble files.
Summary: I bought the scanner to scan photographs and it is doing a very good job. The scanner works great. It is as good as new. Most bang for the buck. The auto feeder is great. The best thing is it works with Windows 7.
Summary: Very good scanner! Works very well at a good speed. The preview feature as it is scanning the pages comes in very handy. Works very well with the Windows 7 operating system. Would buy this unit again.
Summary: This a super great Scanner that absolutely meets all my needs. It allows for everything I need, from small items to books, catalogs, and other publications. I wish I could have had this scanner prior to my previous one. The is an absolute must for every office user or for personal adaptations. It is GREAT!!!
Summary: Love it it does what is stated it could, the Windows 7 file was easy to download. And so far NO software conflict... Bought it to help with document storage, sure beats scanning each document by hand.
Summary: I just got this scanner from Costco. and i want to install it on my mac. many problems in installation. not PNP. searched the web for a solution as i founded out the many are very unhappy with hp scanners. after 4 hours i decide to call The hp suport after reading about them on the web. I should have just trusted the web and not call them. after they asked me a million question about myself and the scanner.
