Summary: I've had this for quite a few years, and its still working strong. For some reason, the scan button on the top no longer initiates the scan program (I need to open it manually), but, it still scans beautifully. I'm not sure when that quit working, but it doesn't bother me.
Summary: The cost of simple contact prints of over 200 very old B/W negatives was going to be more than I paid for this excellent scanner, which continues to give me flawless service. It is at the core of my photo restoration project for family history.
Summary: I've been watching this particular scanner for a few years now - seeing if anything better came along. Nothing did, so I happened to get it as a Christmas gift - it is definitely the gift that keeps giving! My Father has OVER 1,500 slides from 1954 through the 70's.
Summary: I bought this because it was able to scan multiple negatives simutaneously. I had wedding photo negatives that were probably 2.5" square, and most of the small negative scanners wont scan this size, and many scanners don't have the adapters to do multiple negatives at once.
Summary: The product was advertised as new and it is. Other than a slight cosmetic dent in the cover which is hardly noticible, this machine is what we were looking for. Old odd sized negatives come out as good as original prints. Delivered as promised. We couldn't be more satisfied.
Summary: I just purchased this scanner, and we had some operator foopaws, because being typical man, my husband was trying to just do it! with his previous scanner and electronic experience. He did work for HP as a tech. We got excellent detail on 14+ year old negatives.
Summary: I have had 2 Epson and 3 HP scanners in the past. This is by far the best. I had a lot of old photos from early 1900's to computerize. It did great. It also did great with the slides and negatives. I highly recommend this. I can't wait to get started on the family documents.
