Summary: Comments about Fujitsu S510M: This is a great scanner for documents to be converted into PDF. Very easy to setup and easy to use. Being that it is refurbished, I needed to run it a few times before the rollers would work nearly flawless. As for photos?
Good - but you may want to get newer model ** Revised comments **

Summary: After reading all of the glowing reviews, I purchased this product at the end of February 2009 with the intent of using it primarily to scan in documents. However, I was in a pinch to digitalize photos for a digital frame that was being given as a gift, so I used it to scan in a few hundred photos.
Summary: I have installed one at work. The footprint is pretty decent, despite my crowded desk. As others have noted, the product tends to pull in multiple pages of paper at times. This is primarily when many sheets have been together (e.g.
Summary: I bought this so I could send faxes from home. I know, you can get fax machines for much less, but I didn't want to mess with shared lines or installing a separate line. Summary: Comments about Fujitsu S510M: This is a great scanner. It came within 5 days, it was easy to install, and is a very fast machine to my surprise. I was quite impressed with the speed. The pages looked great. I highly recommend this machine. Its good for both the office and home.
Pros: Easy Setup, Excellent Software, Good Bit Depth
A very good scanner, easy to use, fax machines are now obsolete.

Summary: Update 11-2009 I have had the machine since 5/2008 and it works great. I would add to my original review that there is an excellent feature where it will ask you after scanning a series of pages if you want to continue scanning.
Summary: I really like this small machine. I've had it about a month and have so far scanned thousands of old work invoices and statements for storage as well as family photos and patient medical records. Does them all.
Summary: It's the best/fastest scanner you can find at this value and I will just mention the bad here. No driver support x64 XP windows, I chatted with Fujitsu tech and he told me to try the vista driver for S300 at my own risk. He also said they have no plan making x64 driver at this moment.
