A Life Saver!

K. Currier "amazon sleuth", Amazon
15 December 2010
  • Summary: I don't normally leave reviews for items I purchase -- and especially for things that I bought well over a year ago. (I got this item in March 2009.) But I just want to say that this little scanner has been a life saver for me!

Worth the money!!!

  • Summary: Comments about Fujitsu S510M: This is a great scanner for documents to be converted into PDF. Very easy to setup and easy to use. Being that it is refurbished, I needed to run it a few times before the rollers would work nearly flawless. As for photos?
  • Pros: Easy Setup, Good Resolution

  • Summary: Comments about Fujitsu S510M: [...] If you want a very fast scanner for archiving documents, scanning to email or scanning to a printer this is the one you should buy. You can't beat the price compared to a new one as it is less that half the cost.

Bad refurb quality control.

IT Nut, pcRUSH.com
1 December 2009
  • Summary: Comments about Fujitsu S510M: Scanner grabs more than one page at a time. Non-refurbs don't seem to have this problem. Poor service hours from Fujitsu. I haven't had the time at work to break away to call them for service/repair.
  • Pros: Easy Setup, Excellent Software, Good Resolution, Widely Compatible, Works on Network
  • Cons: Accidentally double feeds, Inaccurate Color

  • Summary: Comments about Fujitsu S510M: I am very please with my purchase of this refurbished package. While it did not include certain cables, I saved a lot of money buying a simple belkin cord myself. The scanner works as good as new and my images come out really crisp.

Excellent Tool for Paperless Office

P. Schmidt, Amazon
26 February 2009
  • Summary: I have a large collection or periodicals...magazines, journals, etc; which occupy way too much space on shelves in my basement. I only keep those periodicals which are reference types, not news and popular magazines, but still those worthy ones were slowly pushing into my available work space.
