Summary: This is the third Fujitsu scanner I have purchased. The other two are the larger models, and they work very well. This one is lousy. I have to hold almost every sheet as it scans to avoid jamming or grabbing two sheets at a time. it is also too slow. I brought it from my office to my home, thinking I could get some use out of it. Unfortunately, it won't even work with my notebook. A waste of money. Go with the bigger units.
Excerpt: This scanner either misfeeds or jams constantly. Sometimes the misfeed destroys the original document. When it works, it's great, but it's too fickle for any kind of reasonable use. I wish I had never bought this scanner.
Excerpt: I recently had to send my scanner to be repaired. I would get a notice that the scanner had been turned off but in-fact it was still on. Then one day it just would not turn on. Quite an inconvenience when your job requires use of a scanner. Other than that issue the scanner works pretty well.
Summary: I bought this unit mostly because I didn't want to pay similar/more for just a "business card" scanner, and this one says it does business cards; light document scanning like invoices and bill copies is nice, too. It turns out this scanner isn't really all that good a doing business cards. I mostly have to feed them one at a time (many modern cards are glossy and this scanner just doesn't like them and slips).
Summary: I bought this scanner primarily to scan receipts. However, the thin paper most receipts are printed on either gets caught in the roller or gets pulled through crooked (80% of the time). Also, the software always insists on asking you if you want to save the document/image even when you have to Show Preview option turned off. I just want it to scan to a folder like it advertises! I don't want to have to manually accept each document! It's going back to Amazon.
