Excerpt: I have put this little scanner to the test. In less than a week I have pushed over a 100 scans through this little machine with no problems! It is small yet big enough to handle the work load and very portable. The software that comes with it is sufficient enough to get the simple jobs done. It will take some getting used to, but it is not difficult to understand. Great scanner over all!
Pros: Convenient, Easy To Set Up, Easy to use, Great software, Portable
Summary: FUJUTSU MAKES EVERYTHING QUALITY!! ALL THERE STUFF IN SCANNERS ARE GREAT . IVE HAD MACHINE 8 YEARS PLUIS AND THEY ARE STYILL GOING STRONG . BUT THIS ONE WASH GOOD BUT DID NOT FIT OUR NEEDS . IT WA STOO SMALL AND PAPER FED TOO SMALL NOT ENEOGHT SHEETS .
Summary: This is a well built and functional piece of equipment. Pluses: 2 sided multi-page scanning at the touch of a button. I am still reading the manuals and trying to set up a sytem of folders to manage all of my scans.
Summary: This scanner has not disappointed. If I'd spend the time to read the manual on the hardware and software I'd probably be even more impressed. Intuitive, the way I like it. I would and have recommended this scanner. The Rack2-Filer software may be of some use to some but I haven't used it so I'll leave those comments to those that have.
The single best aid to uncluttering my life that I've ever bought!

Summary: Well, maybe second to a great trash can, anyway. That said, I cannot believe what a difference having the ScanSnap has made in my business and personal life! I used to have stacks and stacks of papers all over my house as well as in my offices which are in my house. I also had several thousand file folders in hanging files for client work. I have been gradually scanning everything and shredding/recycling everything that isn't worth scanning and keeping.
Summary: The scanner works very well and fast but the storage software rack2-filer smart is OK but not top notch. The documentation is not intuitive with poor documentation. I muddled my way through with much try and see which did work but why did I have to work so hard to figure it out! POOR DOCUMENTATION No other reason. The up side is rapid scanning and the ease of documentation placement which is good with Rack2 smart.
Excerpt: Outstanding scanner! Easy to use! Does everything they said it would do! If a page is crooked, the software straightens the image. It's portable, and works very well to help you get rid of the clutter. I'm very happy with this product!!
Summary: I use this when I'm in a good mood, not to grumpy, and not in a big hurry. The image quality is absolutely great! The paper handling capability can be incredibly frustrating. Jams are very common, and opening the cover to get the paper out can result in parts of the cover coming off (easy to put back but who needs that?). \ If papers have been previously stapled together, those tiny rough edges can cause a misfeed.
