Excerpt: I publish an online newspaper at hunterword. and need a scanner to send info to my writers and editors as well as for recommendations for my journalism students. As well as to back up documents. ScanSnap is just the right size for my modest operation. The paper feed works excellently so that I don't have to worry about re-scanning because of crooked pdf files. The emailed material looks very professional.
Pros: Accurate Color, Easy To Set Up, Good Resolution
Excerpt: The hardware and software were simple to install and use right out of the package. More work on intuitive use of the software is in order. Excerpt: I really like my Scan Snap. It does a fabulous job of scanning and is super fast! But I have a couple of suggestions that could make it a GREAT portable scanner. 1. Make it a both a Scanner-Wand that can scan ANY item, like an open book, piece of fabric, etc., in addition to being able to scan paper through the feeder. 2.
Excerpt: Installation was effortless. I just wish I could tell the software not to start when I reboot. Product scans paper by running it around a roller. This is a good solution when one needs something portable that can be operated in not much space, but this also means that it does not work on cardboard. The scan is fast enough for my needs. I scan things exclusively to PDFs and do not use the other integration functionality.
