Good luck scanning more than one document

K. Amberg, Amazon
30 June 2013
  • Summary: This is a very fickle scanner. You can scan one or two documents fine but if you have three or more you will have to feed them individually and half the time they will go in crooked and ruin your document. If you have the money, I would suggest a different scanner.

Fujitsu ScanSnap fi5110E0X2 a scanning marvel

sepearce748, Ebay
28 August 2010
  • Summary: I have been used to using flat bed scanners with ADF attachments from HP that scanned about 4-5 pages a minute. While I have scanned a lot of material, it is a time consuming process leaving much to be desired.

Item received as described. Good shipment time.

willingham7793, Ebay
28 December 2009
  • Summary: The Fujitsu ScanSnap 5110EOX2 is very good desktop scanner. The small footprint is excellent for workstations with a limited amount of surface area. Setup is simple (especially compared to Visioneer) but a bit time consuming due to Fujitsu's large native programs that come with the scanner.

  • Summary: After making more than 100 trades on ebay I experienced my first purchase that was not totally as advertised. I did not think this would possibly be resolved after already paying the vendor.

Unreliable Fujitsu Drivers - No TWAIN drivers - Awful

Mark Early, Amazon
20 January 2008
  • Summary: I have owned this unreliable piece of equipment for 2+ years and made the mistake of recommending it to friends after I got it, not smart on my part. It is inexcusable of Fujitsu to not provide industry standard TWAIN drivers. This should have been my first clue.

Little Workhorse

J. Roberts "bluuz", Amazon
13 April 2007
  • Summary: I bought the Scansnap partly because of the glowing reviews here on Amazon, and I not disappointed. Rarely do I find a product worthy of 5 stars, but this little guy deserves it.

The ADF is highly tempermental.

Rick, pcRUSH.com
1 December 2006
  • Summary: Comments about Fujitsu Scansnap FI-5110EOX2: The ADF is tempermental. Be prepared to feed a sheet at a time. Awfully unreliable. If you have deadlines this might as well be a flatbed.
  • Pros: Accurate Color, Easy Setup, Good Bit Depth, Good Resolution
  • Cons: Bad ADF

Good, but software needs work

Andrew H. Zack, Amazon
2 April 2006
  • Summary: I bought this after reading very strong reviews, but I confess I'm strongly disappointed in the software that comes with the program. Not Adobe, but the ScanSnap software that stands between the machine and Adobe. This software has a strangely DOS or Windows 3.1 feel to it.
