Cons: False advertising about the software included in bundle. Spoke with manufacturer (Fujitsu) and they informed me that Newegg is falsely stating that Adobe Acrobat is included with the scanner. At this time, Newegg has done nothing to resolve this matter, except to tell me that the "Helpdesk" will contact me in 3 to 5 days.
Generally, I rate this scanner very high. I like it.

Summary: Generally, a great machine. Fast and dependable. Only problem has been a few paper jams for no apparent reason other than it just like the way the paper fed into the scanner. Jams due to paper clip, staples are to be expected, and in 98% of those cases, I was able to clear the jam and continue, without it closing me out of my scan job. Still, I give this scanner a very high rating.
Summary: We purchased this model to replace an older Fujitsu. This unit was easy to set up. Even though we had to work the settings to get the final product the way we needed it, it has been such a great buy. No hang ups when scanning multiple pages and it's so quick! Batches that used to take all day with the old one now take just minutes. This has been a large boost in productivity for our company. I would recommend this product.
Summary: Both fi-6130 & fi-6140 are great little scanners. These are small footprint high-end scanners with lots of might from a small package. Great for small/mid sized businesses and maybe even larger applications. These are professional-level scanners meant for business use, so if you want a good scanner for your SOHO, then this might be a good choice or maybe it is out of your price range. ...You do get what you pay for...
Summary: Beware. Don't make the Fujistu mistake I did. I now own $2,500 worth of Fujistu-scanner-bricks. Fujitsu sells these expensive business-class scanners, then fails to update drivers for new versions of Windows. When this happens, your scanner hardware will work fine, but your computer won't recognize it. I guess for a few hundred bucks I could live with this, but when prices get north of $1,000, I feel cheated.
