Summary: I bought this unit about a month ago and have since scanned in well over 2000 pages of old bills, statements, various legal documents, etc. Pros: fast, easy to use, small footprint, minimal jammed documents (only when I missed a staple) Cons: poor documentation, auto straighten not perfect, skip blank page feature sometimes misses blank pages and sometimes erases pages with some writing (not sure if this is scanner issue or software or user error), scanned document...
Summary: Works well as described; compact in size, fairly easy to set up. Scans quickly and in great quality. Used in a small office setting to scan tons of items for indexing in a 3rd party system, and definitely lives up to the job.
Summary: This scanner has been working very well since the purchase. It's not too heavy, so I can carry it back and forth from my work and my home. It scans things very well, but one has to make sure the margins are set snugly to make sure the images do not get slanted. I hope it continues to work well even 2-3 years from now.
Summary: There are several features that appeal to me including the speed, the duplex sensor that knows that a page is two sided and copies both at the same time, the quality of the documents scanned, the ability to turn all pages the same direction, the ability to scan different sizes at the same time, and it's a small size that fits nicely on desk. I'm preparing for a paperless tax season and can't wait to spend less time trying to read documents with a magnifying glass!!
Summary: When my scanner came, I was excited to get it set up and start using it. However, the manuel is loaded on a disc that you have to print, 211 pages. Have not had the time to go through and set up the parameters on the program. Not as easy as I was hoping it would be. I am sure once I learn what to do with it, the scanner will be great. It was easy to install, just not all the functions work till it gets set up properly.
Fast, accurate, Duplex, color & black & white, one of the best!

Summary: The Fujitsu is one of the better scanners on the market, it's fast, does not jam, color or black & white, and does a duplex both sides. This unit has been out there a while and works well with a PC, not so much with a Mac, or does not work, probably due to age, and software. A Mac would require the snap scanner, which I plan to also acquire, the 6140 is a little faster and newer, but this is a heavy duty scanner for a workstation, or a individual computer, works with...
Summary: I previously owned a Fujitsu ScanSnap S5100M <http://www.amazon.com/Fujitsu-ScanSnap-Instant-Sheet-Fed-Macintosh/dp/B001XWCQO2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1338652128&sr=8-3>, and while its software support for Mac, and even better, its integration with Mariner Software's Paperless is excellent, the ADF is not robust, and it failed within a year.
