Theoretically a Good Idea

  • Summary: I purchased this product for a small department in a very large building with a large network system. Our tech people found that this product is somewhat deceptive in what is says it can do. It says it is a network scanner, but it only works properly with small workgroups--it does not recognize domains. I had four tech people working with Fujitsu's tech people for two days before they all gave up on trying to configure this thing to connect to our server.

Excellent product

  • Summary: The Fujitsu fi-6000ns is an great scanner with easy set up. The interface is clear and intitive. We've been using the scanner for about 8 months now and to date I have had no one ask how to use it. To use the scanner, users type in their network credentials and choose from a number of standard scan options. They can then choose to whom scans are to be emailed to from their own address lists. The scanner came with printed manual, which I find rare these days.
