Summary: I'm a fan of this workhorse machine and these are nicely refurbished. Used our first one since 2005 before rollers finally deteriorated. Mutli-page scans can jam but it is fast (36 ppm on 240 resolution) and we scan hundreds of pages a day. May have trouble using with newer operating systems. I just swapped with another scanner on a dedicated machine running NT but I wasn't able to get it connected to anything newer than Vista.
Summary: I have been a tech-head all my life. 20+ years in Printing, Publishing then over a decade in IT. I've used flatbeds, handhelds, camera stands everything to image and nothing worked as well as this little machine! I'm on my 2nd used one!
Summary: I should have known when I purchased this scanner online at the price I was getting it something had to be wrong with it. I purchased a scanner that is not compatible to any current software. It's worthless, furthermore, it has set me back a month in production and cost me apprx 2600.00 Lesson learned, it will never happen again.
Summary: Very easy set-up, simple to use and very forgiving when the paper is not fed in straight. Quite speedy for a small device and takes up relatively small desk space. Scans are excellent and the device works with most programs.
Fujitsu fi-4120C Desktop Scanner - A good product at a good price

Summary: I bought this particular scanner as a direct request from a customer who I often buy office equipment for. My primary experience is with HP Scanners, so buying a Fujitsu was new for me. I found machine to be a little smaller than expected, but operation was quiet and it handled a stack of originals quickly. Their software interface (drivers were not included but easily found online) made crisp, OCR capable scans from the get-go.
Summary: This scanner is small and compact, fits well on the desk, and is a solid workhorse with a fairly fast scan speed. It is, of course, an older model now, having been replased with the fi-6180, which is also a great machine. The only difficulty with this scanner, is it does not work with Vista 64 or Windows 7 operating systems, without some kind of workaround. It does work with Vista 32.
Summary: Don't buy from this person. I usually look at the satisfaction ratings and I think I remember that he had 6 ratings, all 100,(BS). The sheet-fed automatic scanner was supposed to be lightly used, what I got was a dirty, poorly packaged scanner without the document feeder. The scanner was stained, as if it had been sitting in a coffee puddle. About the missing document feeder, he replied like he was going to send it out immediately, but it never came.
Summary: I first saw this scanner when I went to the hospital for a routine procedure and was impressed with its small size and speed. The employee who was scanning told me what a pleasure it was to use. I was hooked, and after doing some research, I bought it to use at home to replace my flatbed scanner. I scan receipts, warranties, bank statements, brochures, books, etc.
Summary: Easy to set up and use and what a difference duplex scanning makes - the scanner eats up the pages. I was able to format a size for cancelled checks and scan them one at a time - the scanner automatically scans the back and places the scans in order ( probably with the help of the Adobe program, but it was easy) This scanner replaces a Fujitsu 620C sheetfed and flatbed scanner and quite honestly is so much faster and easier to use.
