Good scanner

johnnylaw187, Ebay
6 November 2014
  • Summary: I bought this scanner for the home office after using one at work and while I don't have experience with other scanners, this one does a great job for me. The software is very intuitive and it's easy to customize where you would like the scans to be saved. I would agree it jams/misfeeds on larger (more than 15 pages) through the automatic feeder, but I don't normally have a problem sending smaller batches through the feeder.

Epson WorkForce GT-1500

MD, Epson
4 November 2014
  • Summary: Received the scanner. From order to delivery was quick. I had read others comments on this machine prior to ordering and still decided to go ahead due to the good price for a scanner with a document feeder. The feeder does not work well. On some occasions the feed is quick and smooth and for no apparent reason at other times I keep receiving a message to put the document in the feeder. Very annoying. Also annoying are the many steps involved from start to finish.

scanner keeps losing comms with computer

Perry, Epson
26 October 2014
  • Summary: I bought this scanner because it had gotten good reviews and I liked the features it had, so I was quite disappointed when I hooked it up to my system and found that each time I wanted to use it, I had to cycle power because otherwise the computer could no longer see it.

Does NOT work!

Lenmarcus, Adorama
23 October 2014
  • Excerpt: I am an IT so assume I know what I'm doing. I have installed the software (TWICE) and when I hook up the USB, it DOES connect to the computer. Almost immediately the green light on the scanner starts to blink in YELLOW indicating an error. Maybe when I get it working, I'll feel better about it.

Quick and Easy

18 October 2014
  • Summary: I have an Epson V550 photo scanner and wanted a scanner to do documents. I looked at the Epson Workforce GT 1500 and it was what I wanted in a document scanner. It came with PaperPort software that makes it easy to scan to my different categories - bills, medical, taxes, etc.. It has a document tray and will hold 40 pages. I would recommend this scanner for home or office use.
