Summary: We were looking for a faster scanner to import 8x10 photos. No doubt this scanner is fast, but when it comes to qualityu2026look elsewhere. No matter what speed, dpi, or settings I try, or how many times I clean it, there are multiple lines that show up in almost every image! It's added time to my workflow because now I have to remove all of the lines from the images. So annoying!
Excerpt: Easily installed software without any issues and easy power on. It folds itself together to save space which is a great feature. One touch scan to PDF works without any issues as well. The software could be a little bit better, hopefully they polish it up later. Overall, functions as good as Fujitsu SnapScan and awesome investment.
Summary: I've only had the scanner for one day, but so far, it's the best I've ever used and really fast! I like the fact that it will scan to pdf and I can save in folders, etc. to keep things organized.
Summary: I ordered the scanner to improve scanning from HP Officejet all in one. It is tremendously faster without any jams. Last night first missed page scan after about 5000 to 6000 pages over the past month and a half. The missed pages were mail that had been printed together which tends to resist sliding apart. I will roll this type of material long ways, inside and outside which has taken care of the problem. Skipped rolling this batch.
Summary: Purchased new from Amazon last week received from Amazon as described. Installed software and found that there was a problem and called tech support at Epson. I new right away dealing with Epson was a mistake but spent 2 hours explaining and reexplaining the failure of the scanner to communicate with the computer.
