Summary: I used the scanner in a short records project of less than 200 scans. last week I had another office project so I used my New Desk top to do the records. after loading the disk I had difficulty with the process. the scanner kept jamming when there was no paper in the machine and thus slowed the work to a crawl to clear the screen and save. Immediately after I lost Office 2013.
Summary: I am returning the scanner to the store. It scanned my document without a problem, the reason I am returning it is that it will not allow me to save the document under the title I want, rendering the scanned item useless to me. I attempted using 2 of the programs that came with it and after searching the useless users guide for information, I decided that this was not for me.
Excerpt: Disc's were not up to date and would not load. Tech support knew that so I had to download on-line to get started. Tech support was TERRIBLE. They did not understand me and I did not understand them. Called corporate in California and they too routed me to the customer service in Manila. I will keep this product as I have opened it but WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY A EPSON PRODUCT.
Summary: I'm really disappointed because i was looking forward to finally cleaning up the paper in my office. I wasted hours trying to get this thing hooked up. Installed the driver I downloaded from the website. I don't ever install from the CD's because they're usually outdated. I uninstalled, reinstalled, searched the internet, read the manual and I still keep getting an error.
Summary: I replaced a pandigital scanner that is no longer made. I had confusion at the store about the operating system requirements. The store signage said it was not Mac compatible but the Epson website said it was. I am disappointed that I can not just scan one picture after another. Also, no memory card slot so I can't sit at my desk and just scan. It is slow, the setup instructions are wrong.
