Excerpt: I scan B&W negatives (35mm and 120mm) and 35mm color slides. B&W negatives at 4000dpi, tiff about 50-60mb. Color slides at 2400dpi jpegs about 9mb. The scanner is a little slow scanning but for $200 it's OK.
Excerpt: ABBYY Fine Reader was part of the software package included with the scanner. I think this was instead of the Adobe software. I have windows 8.1 and ABBYY caused a conflict that disabled my Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Pros: Accurate Color, Easy To Set Up, Good Bit Depth, Good Resolution

Pros: Accurate Color, Easy To Set Up, Excellent Software, Good Resolution
