Summary: The connectors are on the long side of the scanner, which means it won't lay flat inside a space where you might put your computer. Both the USB and power cords stick straight out from the long side. I bought an adapter cord for the USB connector to turn it 90 degrees.
Excerpt: I needed a compact scanner to put on my desk, right in front of me to scan about 1,600 photographs for a customer. Although I have "All in one" scanners, copier, printer, fax....", I needed something where I could sit in one spot to work without moving all around. This was the "ticket!
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Excellent Software, Good Resolution, Widely Compatible
Excerpt: Install was easy. This Scanner needs a separate power supply unlike the 10 year old scanner it is replacing which just used the USB power. Seems to work well. I like that the cover folds all the way back and out of the way which is useful for scanning oversized books.

Summary: I have only used the device to scan print photographs so far and have not used the scan to cloud or other features. This is a good scanner at a reasonable price and delivered as promised. Likes and Dislikes: Likes: • Scans are relatively fast compared to my HP All-In-One printer/scanner.

Summary: Worked right out of the box. Using it to archive/digitize all my paper photos from the years past but got a long way to go, and I hope this scanner lasts. Still trying to figure out a way to scan multiple pictures one after another, without having to reopen the Epson Scan interface for every...

Summary: Just got the scanner today so not much time to test it out. What I have noticed is that the software included could use some work. There are no previews for picture scanning. The default is 300dpi and if you want something other than that you have to enter the dpi manually.
