easy to use

  • Summary: I bought it at a reasonable price, brought it home, read the quick start guide, plugged it in and immediately go to work with it. I had to get used to the software first though, but that's kind of the way it is with all new products. Now that I understand it, it does just what I want it to do and more. (I like the Settings folder presets function.

Everything good - practically nothing to improve this flatbed scanner

  • Summary: Here are a few things you may want to include in your product review: - Why you bought it: It was the least expensive scanner I could find that had the qualities that I needed. I wasn't looking for the least expensive when I was looking. I shopped "BEST" electronic store and they only had one flatbed scanner in the whole store on display (much to big). I wanted something small footprint, FLATBED so I don't distort documents and photos, Windows 7 compatible.

decent, but...

  • Excerpt: Hardware is not bad, scans quickly, good quality output. Watch out for the software though. It is not as feature rich as you might think. Had a lot of problems cropping the image and a lot of dialog boxes to work through. Took me about 3 hours to have some reasonable command of the software. Would have been glad to pay a few extra bucks for a more comprehensive software package. Would recommend with the software reservations.

Love my scanner!

  • Excerpt: I am a writer and an artist and I needed a scanner that could work for both my businesses. I need to scan documents and brochures to use on my writing website, and I need to scan photographs and art I paint to use in my graphic designs on and on my art site, A flat bed scanner with very high resolution scanning capabilities is what I needed and the Epson Perfection V37 Scanner absolutely fit the bill!

V37 Scanner

  • Summary: Quite a nice scanner. It scans smoothly & is pretty quiet. I would like a little flexibility with the scanning procedure; had a few issues where it said I couldn't do that kind/type of scan.

a great relief

  • Excerpt: I bought this to replace a wireless all-in-one printer-fax-scanner. That unit took many minutes to warm up and get itself together before it even thought of scanning. This is a great unit as it works instantly.

CUSTOMER REVIEW

Trinh, Epson
29 August 2014
  • Summary: The V37 scanner is a very good, fast running device. It's worth for the money you spent. The 2 software utility programs such as Epson scanner, Perfection V37, run witout a glitch. Other programs in the CD rom are unacceptable. It makes your computer run extremely slow. I have to remove these programs to make it run fast like before. Because i use this scanner as a copier only, other utility programs are no concern with me.

Very nice scanner. Good Value.

  • Summary: This scanner works very well and is easy to set up. The quality and performance of the scanner is excellent. The quick-start instructions and user manual need improvement. Both should include more detail to illustrate the use of each of the scanner buttons, i.e. copy, e-mail, and PDF. It is not obvious that these are used in conjunction with windows on the computer. Also, it would be much better if an 800-number was available for technical support.
