Summary: Lightweight, low profile scanner with bonus of slide and transparency support. The 35mm slide holder is problematic, light touch required or the slide pops out the other side. No instructions on loading slides to see if there is a trick to it.
Summary: I don't remember seeing the page mention that the scanner was refurb but considering the price it was still a great deal. I had been tracking this scanner for a couple years to use on all my old 35mm negatives. For [$] it is well worth the price. The scans look great!
Summary: The scanner is very easy to use, recognizes the software and copying to printer was a breeze in that it automatically recongized the installed printer. The sw is smart too, to recognize two different documents on the platen at the same time and it printed two separate pages.
Summary: After much study. After findng people with recommendations: This was my pick. It is priced right and works well. I have transfered about 600 slides to CD so far. I would like faster production, but NO scanner works quickly enough for me.
Summary: The Epson Perfection V330 Photo Scanner has performed as good as listed in their info. I have scanned a number of color slides with good success. I like the Pre Scan in the Pro mode, as it allows me to crop and adjust the scan setting prior to the full scan.
Summary: I have had this a couple of weeks and scanned about 200 slides with absolutely no problem. I haven't really played with too many settings but at 1200 dpi I get a great image and the jpeg file size isn't too big.
