Summary: When up an running it works terrific. The setup support for OS X is woefully inadequate. This particularly applies to the configuration with a network card. After nearly a year I finally figured out how to get to connect using an OS X 10.8/9.
Summary: I've been using it for a year now. I made the right choice. I use it for nearly every piece of mail I receive and have been chunking away at literally 1000s of old family pictures. Pros: * It's a very solidly built scanner. It's durable. It would probably stop a bullet.
Summary: After careful research and reading reviews, this scanner was the best option for the features and cost. It has proven to be a great purchase and I would recommend this scanner to others. Installation was effortless.
Summary: I have been using this scanner for about 4 years, have done little-no servicing on the unit and it's still going strong. I work in an office where the unit scans about 100 pages per day 5 days a week and still working great. Extremely impressed.
Summary: Installing their software took a bit of effort since we had some HP softwares installed in our computers and apparently the HP programs were blocking some of the features in the Epson GT software.
Summary: I am seriously considering this scanner as it seems to be liked and well received by most of you who have purchased it. However, I am a bit taken aback by the cost of the optional network card. 350 dollars to get a card so you can network this thing ? Are you kidding me ?
Excerpt: The device was easy to install.Using it was a bit more complicated because I didn't have the instructions for a MAC X. They were easy to get on the web and all was great. I have 4 mac's that share the Artisan scanner using both wired and wireless connections.
Pros: Easy To Use, Functional, Improves Scanner Function
