Excerpt: I use the 11000xl to scan original illustrations for publishers. I no longer have to "splice" larger book illustrations together. The new space dimensions are great. I was using two Epson 4870 pro scanners. Cuts my time down considerably. The detail is excellent. It took a little time to adjust images where I was satisfied. Other than that , so far, it is doing the job I expected of it - and - I am happy!
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Excellent Software, Good Bit Depth, Good Resolution, Widely Compatible
Summary: I received the package last week, and although it was supposed to be "Like New" and unboxed, it clearly had been opened before. There are missing parts, so we can not use this product for its intended purpose.
Excerpt: i use scanner to scan 10x15" paintings that i produce.. after initial help from epson, it works perfectly, even sharper than previous scanner (a relic by now)..havent found anything no so great about it...
Summary: - I'd recommend it to any artist who needs to scan large pieces. - I like this especially because it has the biggest scan bed around. - For office purposes, it's great for photocopying, scanning files to a pdf format, and beats having to go out to office stores; it's in the comfort of your own home office. - For Fine Art purposes, it really captures the details like the original piece. - So far, since I've had it for 3 months, I find no dislikes about it.
Summary: Forward: I wrote this review when I was in the middle of a large scan job, and literally the moment I posted it, I started having problems with the scanner. A light band was being scanned through the length of the scan, and I had to stitch together my final scans as a work around for the project. I pulled my review from amazon within 10 minutes and waited until I had something to report. I contacted Epson via their support page, and had a response the same day.

Summary: I've had this scanner for less than a week, but I hope he will be my buddy for the rest of my life--I finally made enough money to feel okay about springing for this scanner. I've been a traditional media, watercolor artist for most of my life, and have been pursuing it professionally for about a decade.

Excerpt: Great product. Scans quickly and beautifully. We have only needed to use it a couple times so far and still need to figure out a couple of kinks in the importation of images but otherwise we love it. Fast, clean scans.
