Summary: Installed and worked great on Office 2010. Then IT upgraded us to Office 2013 and the software no longer works. Dymo's website acknowledges this, but there is not yet a downloadable fix for Office 2013.
Summary: This is a delightful scanner, it really is. It's fast-ish, with some nice OCR'ing going on. I don't use it's software for contact management, just export into a few other things, so I can't quite comment on that, but what I can comment on is its lack of Open Directory support - it just doesn't work.
Summary: I did not experience any major problems with the card reader as some other reviews have indicated. I did have to review the entries to make sure all of the information was downloaded. I bought the device as I had a couple of hundred cards I needed to transfer the information to some kind of format for saving and accessing easily. The system works pretty well, but like I have said, you have to check the entries for the occassional lack of information.
Summary: The set-up of the system was quick and easy to do. It is simple to use and is a great time saver. Unfortunately, scanner technology has not changed much from 1999 when I first used a card scanner. The small inconvenience of having to verify the entry is vastly outweight by the fact that you do not have to type in every piece of information from a business card.
Summary: Normally I don't write reviews but this system works. I don't use the card reader much and bought it for the contact data base program. If you are compiling a customer list, you should consider this program. The "drag and drop" is perfect for quick data entry. The "address check" seems to work well and reduces postage returns. Lots of sortable categories. It's easy to print a single envelope or a whole list. Can choose from a number of nice fonts.
Summary: Works great with one exception, there should be some way of preventing the cards from jamming up as they come out of the scanner. Much faster than the old version, which constantly had to be restarted.
