Summary: This product works well with traditionally designed business cards e.g. those with dark print on a light background. It has difficulty with "artful" cards with heavily colored background , metallic printing or calligraphic script printing.
Summary: I have been using card scan for many years. The new version works well and has better features. I just wish I did not have to buy a new device due to windows 7. Would have been happier paying for a software upgrade.
Summary: If you have office 2013 or office 365 DO NOT buy this yet. It works great on all older version of office. Now we have to scan do the DYMO software and then sync with office instead of scanning directly to outlook. If they would have updated their software to match Microsoft they would get 5 stars.
Summary: Installed and worked great on Office 2010. Then IT upgraded us to Office 2013 and the software no longer works. Dymo's website acknowledges this, but there is not yet a downloadable fix for Office 2013.
Summary: This is a delightful scanner, it really is. It's fast-ish, with some nice OCR'ing going on. I don't use it's software for contact management, just export into a few other things, so I can't quite comment on that, but what I can comment on is its lack of Open Directory support - it just doesn't work.
Summary: The set-up of the system was quick and easy to do. It is simple to use and is a great time saver. Unfortunately, scanner technology has not changed much from 1999 when I first used a card scanner.
