Summary: I purchased this product specifically for the feature of being able to sync my scanned cards with the mobile app. I pay an extra annual subscription for this service. This syncing feature does NOT work (I tried on 2 different laptops (Mac and Windows), using 3 different browsers.

Summary: This product will not work with Outlook 64 bit, DYMO suggests you downgrade to the 32 bit version! There is not a fix, upgrade or software revision to solve this problem. They suggest you use their contact software, then export to a vcard and then import into Outlook.
Summary: Nice, used unit. Disc with software dated 2008, and could load easily. Could not activate since I didn't have serial # for software - called CardScan and they gave me two different serial numbers - neither one worked. They need to solve the problem ASAP or I return the unit.

Summary: bought this thing to replace a CardScan that stopped working a few months ago ( half-accepted a card, then jammed). needed it for a weekend dedicated to paperwork and importing a few hundred cards. installation worked ok, but couldn't register it.
Summary: You have two choices: Outlook add-in or their software. Neither is compatible. Windows 8 was released in October 2012, and by now, you think there would have been a plug-in or upgrade. Disappointing.
DYMO needs to make Cardcsan worth buying new versions from them.

Summary: Cardscan ver 9.0 isn't as good as the older ver by Cardscan, ver 8.05 and this scanner, nice looking but by now, DYMO shopuld have developed a scanner that scans both sides of a business card - most write notes on cartd backs.
