Summary: I bought this scanner with high hopes after reading the reviews. I have an IMac and a MacBook. I could not get the cables connected. After an hour of trying I called customer service. The nice agent helped me get it to work after a loooooong time on the phone. Next time I tried to use it, I had the same problem, but there was no friendly customer service agent. It is in my junk pile.
Professional scanner that will greatly speed up your productivity.

Summary: Excellent Scanner - as long as you are using it with Windows operating system - it does not need any software and also does not neet external power source - fully operational just with one USB connection. Has many settings to satisfy your need, at the same time they are not complex. Does dual scanning - no need to pass paper twice, and does several sheets at a time. Very high quality product and also very durable.
Summary: Scans both sides of the page, document feeder makes it quick to process many pages. Has operated flawlessly for 6 months now since it bought it. The included software works well and very intuitive. Only thing I miss is that there is no direct copy feature (scan and immediate print). If you want to do that you have to scan, save it, open it and print it. I bought the P150M.
Summary: Bought this scanner to use with my Mac at home so I wouldn't have to always bring my personal documents to my small business office to use the scanner there. I use both my scanners using Evernote so that I have access to all of my documents(via the web, smart phone, laptop, etc) no matter where I scan them. This scanner was easy to setup, has a really small footprint, and has settings built into the Canon software to use with Evernote.
Summary: This is a great little device that doesn't take up much desk space and works fast and well. The device DOES absolutely work with OS X 10.7 Lion, but you have to download the driver update on Canon's web site. After installing the driver without the scanner plugged in, you have to reboot your Mac (I know, this feels like Windows!). The driver install package does not tell you of this detail.
Summary: Product works exactly as advertised - quick with full duplex scanning. Nice, small footprint. I'm not big on the bundled Canon software so I picked up PDFScanner off the Mac App Store. It would be a 5 star rating, except Canon hasn't updated their scanning driver for Mac OS X Lion so PDFScanner's paper detection doesn't work correctly. Hopefully they'll update the driver soon.
Great product -> no Mac OS Lion support AND very unfriendly customer support

Summary: While I still had Snow Leopard on my laptop, that was the *perfect* scanner: fast and reliable and with a good software coming with it. After I upgraded to Lion, the scanner stopped working. Canon has not provided updated drivers yet. Also, my inquiry with customer support was fobbed off quite unfriendly, leading to my rating. Summary: great product, if you're not planning on upgrading to Mac OS Lion. And don't bother with the Canon customer support.
Summary: I read all of the reviews before buying his product. I needed a portable scanner for my business that looked professional, was light weight, durable, and reliable. I was thinking about the year since I placed my order for three of the canon 150 Scantini. It is not normal for me to write a review on a product, who has the time? Each of my associates use this unit daily. I have had no complaints from them at all. As for me personally, the title says it all.
