EASY TO USE; CLEAR SCANS; VERY FEW JAMS

HOPE THIS HELPS, Amazon
10 June 2012
  • Summary: We use Canon scanners and the CapturePerfect software successfully at work, so I decided to buy the entry level scanner for home use on a Windows 7 machine. I ordered through Amazon -- they were the least expensive, and the scanner arrived quickly.

Bait and Switch

Dr. Jonathan Levy, Amazon
9 December 2011
  • Summary: Beware - Amazon claims this comes with Adobe Acrobat Standard software ($200 retail), it does not, it ships with some junk called eCopy Pro Office. Amazon customer service allows you only the choice of return or keeping it and contacting the manfacturer. False advertising!

Works as expected

Corey F., Newegg
20 April 2011
  • Summary: Compared to the 40ppm scanners, these are great for light/moderate use. I actually bought one to scan photographs in large batches and it works awesome for that. Scans faster than I can feed them!
  • Pros: Use these in clinics and other medical offices for daily scanning. Will pull multiple sheets if they aren't fanned a bit. Quality is great, images look great. Cheap maint. kit (roller).
  • Cons: none

Curse you foul beast, and whatever engineer gave you birth!

Mangoman, Amazon
5 December 2010
  • Summary: Its your choice, you can buy this scanner or ram bamboo shoots under your own fingernails. Both experiences will render the same amount of consumer satisfaction. Great Scanner

Ryan, Amazon
3 December 2010
  • Summary: This is a great scanner that gets abused daily. I simply scan the paper and manipulate it using the program. Some times paper gets jammed but its easy to take out the paper. Simple and easy to use. I recommend this product

' It makes great images, though

Loren A. Tarr, Amazon
2 December 2010
  • Summary: I much prefer my Fujitsu ScanSnap but a certain application used at our office was not compatible and the manufacturer steered us to this Canon which is, but it is very temperamental and I am constantly being prompted to locate it when it goes "missing!' It makes great images, though.

Faulty feeder when scanning more than 3 docs

M.Morris, Amazon
29 November 2010
  • Summary: I use this scanner at work, so take into account that I didn't shell out the money but I do use it on a daily basis. The scanner is terrific when it works properly, but it seems as though the product fails to function properly on a regular basis.

A good scanner

Ellen S, Amazon
25 November 2010
  • Summary: I was very frustrated when trying to get this scanner to work when I upgraded to Windows 8.1. The customer service email was confusing and I was disgusted. I finally called and connected with a person who was able to tell me exactly what to do. It worked!
