Summary: This was a great scanner until I upgraded my OS to Win 7. Cannon never invested the resources ( maybe 1 day) to creating drivers for this scanner to make it work with Win 7 or 8. Hence, a perfectly good scanner ends up in a landfill to pollute the earth. Cannon has a whole slew of products destined for the landfill because they want you to buy newer products. Here is a link to their "Ecological Concern" site....
Summary: With a slim design and a single cord for both power and data, the Canon CanoScan N670U adds minimal mess to your desk while offering a number of instantly accessible scanning options. The USB connection and plug-and-play installation will have you up and running in no time, while the one-touch buttons allow you to e-mail, print, and copy images without referring to a user's manual.
