Pros: Wonderful scanner, Canon did it right for this one. Software easy to use, and works well with 32 Bit or 64 Bit systems. (Windows XP)
Cons: USB plug placement is on the front instead of the back. So if you turn the scanner to reach the buttons you have the cord also sticking out the front. This was not bad enough to lower the rating though.
Pros: I really liked the whole stand bit, it will utilize space plus looks good. Plus the quality of the scans were really good for the purposes that I bought it for. The software that came with the scanner although a bit complex was actually very useful.
Cons: The user interface was a bit complex from your run of the mill scanners but once you get the hang of it you will have no problem.
Summary: I just purchased another one for a different co-worker today! Great product!
Pros: Great scanner for the money. I purchased this one to replace a huge hp flatbed. This scanner is fairly quick. You dont have to wait for the bulb to warm up. Image quality isn't the greatest but is very good for the price range. This scanner has a very small footprint when placed on the vertical s...
Summary: Price difference between a pro scanner and a consumer one is in hundreds of dollars. This one works for the money. Idea behind purchase was NOT to get another flatbed with another lousy transparency adapter - that's what slide scanners are made for. 5 months later still works.
Pros: I am an adjuster and this unit has held up well thru some heavy daily field work. The software is very practical. The USB2 makes a difference. It is powered by the USB port. I have had other scanners and the software makes the difference for me. Great product.
Pros: I bought this to scan using Paperport 10 since it wouldn't consistently recognize my scanner on my Canon MP390. It works great and I get consistent high-quality scans from this and OmniPage 15 every time. It looks good too. Delivery was fast, as always, from Newegg and I save about $10.00 orderin...
Cons: Can't think of any in the product or the service.
